Health2Sync Corp. rolled out a Mid-Autumn Clinic Bundle Monday that pairs prediabetes coaching in its app with extended evening hours at partner clinics in Taipei and Taichung, targeting factory and hospital shift workers who miss daytime appointments during the holiday week.

What is in the bundle

Eligible users—those flagged with fasting glucose or HbA1c in prediabetes bands on recent employer screenings—receive three months of digital coach messaging, CGM loaner slots where clinics stock devices, and priority booking windows from 18:00 to 21:00 between Sept. 22 and Oct. 1. Participating sites include Chang’an Clinic in Taichung’s Daya District and Yongdekang Internal Medicine in Tainan, both previously featured in Health2Sync case studies.

The company said the bundle is priced at NT$2,400 upfront, less than many private nutrition packages, because clinics hope to convert participants into National Health Insurance chronic-care paths after the holiday.

Why prediabetes and why now

Health2Sync’s blog materials describe prediabetes as a reversible window if diet and activity change early; Taiwan’s Health Promotion Administration has pushed workplace screening as obesity rates climb. Mid-Autumn mooncake season spikes glucose variability, and NHIA notices this month reminded clinics to post holiday hours—creating a scheduling gap for night-shift staff.

Chief medical officer Dr. Alan Chen said coaches will script messages around portion control for festival foods rather than banning treats outright, aligning with American Diabetes Association care standards cited in the company’s education pages.

Platform mechanics

The Health2Sync app already syncs glucometers and CGMs for more than a million users across Asia, according to investor materials from Taiwania Capital. Clinicians view dashboards on the Patient Management Platform and nudge patients when post-meal spikes exceed personalized thresholds.

For the bundle, coaches add shift-aware reminders—pre-meal prompts before 02:00 cafeteria runs, for example—and escalate to nurses if users ignore two consecutive high readings.

Clinic incentives

Partner clinics receive a revenue share and marketing placement in the app’s clinic finder. They must keep at least four evening slots open weekly during the bundle window and report aggregate outcomes to Health2Sync for a de-identified outcomes brief regulators may request.

Evidence base

Health2Sync’s Singapore DigiCoach pilot with Abbott CGMs and the Health Promotion Board, announced in 2024, showed engagement gains when coaching was automated but clinician-backed. Taiwan’s bundle is smaller in scale but copies the CGM-plus-chat pattern for prediabetes rather than diagnosed diabetes.

Limits and exclusions

The offer excludes insulin-dependent patients and pregnancies; those users route to standard endocrinology queues. CGMs are first-come due to tariff-sensitive supply; clinics substitute finger-stick plans when devices run out.

Employer channel

Three manufacturers in Taoyuan’s science parks joined as sponsors, subsidizing half the bundle fee for night-shift applicants who complete baseline labs. HR teams receive weekly aggregate adherence reports without individual glucose values.

What patients should expect

Signing up requires a clinic voucher code and a tele-intake within 48 hours. Users should still verify NHIA copay rules for follow-up visits after Oct. 1. For shift workers racing between mooncake gifts and overtime, the pitch is narrow: catch prediabetes when the clinics stay open late, not when the festival is already over.

Data handling

Health2Sync stores Taiwan user health data on in-country servers and encrypts coach chats end-to-end between patient and assigned staff, the company said in a security white paper updated this month. Employers sponsoring subsidies never receive line-by-line glucose traces—only completion percentages.

Competitive positioning

Rivals such as H2 Inc. and physician-led LINE bots offer cheaper chat plans but lack integrated CGM logistics. Health2Sync bets bundled hardware plus clinic nights differentiate it for prediabetes, where motivation often collapses after a single high reading.

Clinics that fill evening slots early will receive additional coach hours funded from employer sponsorship pools, an incentive Health2Sync piloted during last year’s Dragon Boat festival glucose-awareness week.

Nutritionists on the partner list must complete Health2Sync’s prediabetes scripting workshop before the bundle goes live, ensuring festival advice stays consistent across Taipei and Taichung sites.

The company will publish aggregate weight and glucose trend summaries for regulators after the holiday, without naming participating employers.
